I love making things myself, from minor bits of household art to computers and stereos and (hopefully) rocket launchers. I’m also “frugal” (a cheap bastard, some will say). I work with anything I can find, and because of it, I never throw something out until I’ve tried to think of some practical or at least entertaining use for it.
I want you to benefit from my experiments: skip my mistakes and do things right the first time. I’ve taught myself things that once seemed impossible — building my own furniture, sewing my own clothes, brewing my own cider. If I can do it, you can do it.
Don’t be worried. I’ll show you how.
